PostSubject: Collectormania..It's moving   Mon Oct 06, 2008 6:10 pm

what do I think of this...chaos

A NEW START AND AN AMAZING FUTURE

back In May 2002 when we started Collectormania at the shopping centre everyone said that we were crazy and that it would not work! We knew that we could pull it off and it did work and everyone benefitted from a new type of event, THE SIGNING SHOW.

over the years we groue Collectormania MK to as big as we could and in the last few years we started to out grow the center

and as there is so much more we want to beabal to do but cannot in the confines of the shopping centre.

but we have found the answer! WE ARE MOVING! What’s bigger than a shopping centre?

The MK DONS FOOTBALL STADIUM a 40,000 seated auditorium were we are going to take the show to another dimension with the COLLECTORMANIA MK FESTIVAL!

The event will be held twice a year with the first taking place on 5th to 7th June 2009.

These are some of the reasons why this is the best move we have ever made :

1). more space so you get to see all the dealers stalls with out having to fight though the crouds
2). More space for you the fans to migale and hage out and walk around.
3). There will be space for guest talks in the building.
4). Guests will be spread throughout the building ensuring no bottal necks for the dealers.
5). FREE car parking for the fans
6). Free buses from the shopping centre, train and bus stations to the venue.
7). More space for guest queue’s.
Cool. 4 bars selling alcohol over the weekend.
9).More space can be given to film companies who in turn are anxious to bring free give-a-ways to for the public.
10). It will Still be FREE ENTRY to all the public like no other show in the UK
11. ).moving this show will keep Collectormania MK the biggest event of its kind in the UK

lots more stuff to come this is just the beginning so watch this space

Well, now you know what we have been working on over the last few months!

We are incredibly excited about the move and all the possibilities that it opens up for us and you. and have wanted to grow the event for years, and now we finally have the venue that gives us that opportunity, both to grow, but also to put on event we can for everyone!

We would like to thank you for the support that you have shown us over the past 6 years and the faith that you have had in us, and look forward to showing you what we have planed for this and all the events we are running in 2009

Jason and the Showmasters Team

Wow. Very Happy .thanks or the info Mrs Tigger..it was my first Collectormania this year..next year sounds even better..though hope its not too big and confusing..I kinda liked the smaller intimate venue..but onwards and upwards.
I haven't been on lately, busy at work, and then forgot how to log in. Rolling Eyes .so great to be back here.
Hi Carolyn..good to see you on here..I can't seem to reply to posts on the Digest..I have a feeling its probably down to me, bear of little brain with the Internet..in spite of working on it. Embarassed
Hope to see y'all at Collectormania..hopeully before.

It sounds like it's going to be a total disaster Sad I for one don't fancy being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no food outlets and no other facilities.
I guess it's ok if you like a mile walk for curried goat and chips Shocked

Whatever possessed them to think of holding it there ? I can imagine the scrabble for the free buses and the queues will be ridiculous.
Hopefully James will give it a miss.

BTW- their spelling sucks too Shocked

Oh I remember that place now..its where they held the party. Shocked
It was grim..miles from anywhere..no facilities..no shops...and really not that big..whatever are they thinking off Mad . It will cost a fortune in cabs from hotels to venue and even if they lay on a shuttle it'll be even more queues. No No No No
